ENCUADERNACIÓN

Bookbinding is a threatened art. Modern technologies have turned it into a mechanical process with minimal human intervention. Although the techniques have progressed, bind and embellish old books that for one reason or other are damaged, not only implies a commitment and a challenge but it is also a source of satisfaction for the artisan bookbinder.

Damaged books are restored in our school that belong to both public and private collections as well as high-value libraries belonging to monasteries, public libraries, or cultural and educational foundations.

When looking at some books one wonders: Who reads them? When meeting some people one wonders: What do they read?. In the end books and people meet. Andre Gide
